Multi-player additions are pointless grabs for more money from the CoD addicts, ME1 and ME2 were both fantastic games with magnificent story arcs without the need for a crappy online play

Actually, it does. Soldier/Sentinel: Male/Female Human, Turian, Krogan. Adept/Vanguard: Male/Female Human, Asari, Drell. Engineer/Infiltrator: Male/Female Human, Salarian, Quarian. Confirmed by leaked beta.. :/

It'll probably effect the abilities you get and some classes might be restricted. Like krogan not getting biotic abilities and Salarians might not get full soldier classes.
