I played it on the floor at PAX East. It was a ton of fun, really great, good speed, tight controls. Only problem was the demo we had kept crashing in the 2nd level and the PS3 had to be rebooted. Seriously though it was a ton of fun, especially with 2 players.

It's Wayforward. They know exactly what to do.

Doesn't look to bad but it looks a little slow to me and the graphics look average I mean there wasn't anything that really stood out but the gameplay at least looked pretty good.

I want to like this but the slow speed due to too many frames of animation, the lack of unique style within the graphic and overall feel of the game just doesnt hook me yet. Hoping for a demo to change my mind but till then, a sprite based game would have gave them more variety , hell even making a "Rage of the dragons" beat em up would have had a notch of style to it. I really dont want this to end up like TMNT re-shelled.

hmmmm, I'm not convinced... If I end up buying this I know I'm gonna regret it... I pretty much enjoyed Double Dragon II: The Revenge.

this was the best beat um up until turtles in time so if the controls are basically the same I'm sold I've been known to bust out the nes and enjoy this one for an hour or 2 from time to time. The turtles in time remake makes me skeptical though

50,000 on Double Dragon?! I don't know what to make of this quite yet. It sorta looks like Double Dragon, but ssslllooowww. I realize it is a trailer, so hopefully there will be a demo before having to drop some money down.

Wayforward, one of my fave Retro Remake Studio's, working on a new Double Dragon Game? FUCK YEAH!!! But FFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU... This is just a fucking rework of that damned ABOMINATION Double Dragon II: Wander of the Dragons that surfaced a couple years back. Why the FUCK couldn't THAT project stay where it belonged... DEAD!!!!!!!

Looks like that pile of aboted fetus tissue was handed over to WayForward to give it new a new life with packaging and a new coat of paint...

I see someone mentioned Re-Shelled. That's the exact thought I had watching this. The art-direction and animations make the attacks and impacts look tame. It's not enough to have gameplay like Double Dragon; it has to feel like Double Dragon.

HELL. YES. I'm loving this game already. I've been a fan of Double Dragon since I first saw it in The Wizard. Assuming they don't screw this up like Turtles in Time (which I doubt, as WayForward has made some excellent stuff), this is a day one purchase for me.

I heard Wayfoward want there to be Battletoads DLC for the game

Needs more Abobo :3 I have faith in this reboot as it's by Wayforward, and they did a fantastic job with Contra 4.
