Crazy as this idea may seem, this might be just the game I need to return to PKMN. I haven't really cared much about the series since the Poke-count exceeded 300.

Well this is... weird.
Wait. Now that I think of it... even with the suspension of disbelief necessary to let pass the existance of pokémon, having kids making them fight to almost death seems to make no sense... but if you put that in the context of an actual war 0.0! Then the plot finally starts to make some little sense 0o0!... now just to hope the game is actually any good.

I personally think this is a pretty cool cross over. I mean, samurais and Pokemon? It seems stupid but it just might work!
The fact that it's a DS game worries me though. It shows that Nintendo/Gamefreak didn't want to take any chances on the game.

the actual gameplay is a strategy rpg much like disgaea and FFT. There will be a US release due to the fact that everyone buys pokemon games.......even the crappy one
