Pre order bonuses are the opposite of badass. Well done! you were able to pay earlier! Why do people who might not have the money at the time left out?

It only costs $5 to preorder something. You pay the rest when you pick it up.

Not everyone has 5 pounds. And not everyone will have the money to pay the rest of it as they only keep the copy for like a week or 2 before they can re sell it. Its all luck of when you get paid, or how much you get paid.

If they do not have the money to pre-order, they are probably not looking at buying the game anytime soon anyway. They are a company so therefor they need to sell their game. This persuades more people to buy it from them rather then from someone else used. It sucks that not everyone has tons of money but that is just how things are. If you are upset about it, simply do not buy the game.

Also unlike other games i am pretty sure you can buy the content you receive with the pre-order later. So you are not actually missing out on anything.

If money is that big of an issue, preordering a video game should be the least of your worries. These are just some freebies to include for people who are dedicated to get the game as soon as it's out. The $5 is included in the price you pay for the game, not extra (they also don't just keep the deposit). It wouldn't be "free" if that were the case.
