He wanted to stop after Arkham Asylum but he reconsidered when he heard the pitch for Arkham City. He said he would also do the voice of the Joker on an audiobook of The Killing Joke.

Actually, no, I never watched any of the animated series (besides an episode or two of Batman Beyond). Heath Ledger is my Joker, he's the one I think of when I think of the character. But if you took the sinister voice of Mark Hamill's and combined it with the psychotic murderous tendencies of Heath Ledgers, we would have a Joker that just made me shit bricks.

Hamill was my first joker so he is the one I default to.

Hamill is the best Joker. Wally Wingert voiced the Riddler and McNichol did the voice for the Mad Hatter. I thought that they both did a better job than Hamill in Arkham City.
