This week, we list some under-appreciated titles from the beloved 16-bit era.

Pantha35: I actually played most of the games listed, I just haven't finished any of them. Good thing is I still have them available to go back and play, because otherwise I've forgotten about them, especially E.V.O.

WaldoBomar68: We wish to thank you once more for the lovely ideas you offered Jeremy when preparing her own post-graduate research in addition to, most importantly, regarding providing the many ideas in one blog post. Provided that we had been aware of your blog a year ago, we may have been rescued from the useless measures we were employing. Thanks to you. vimax results Thanks a lot for being our mentor on this issue. My spouse and i enjoyed the article greatly and most of all enjoyed reading the way in which you handled the aspect I thought to be controversial. You happen to be always really kind towards readers much like me and assist me to in my lifestyle. Thank you.

This week, we discuss the benefits of subtle imbalances in games (and welcome our newest team member)!
iamli3: very interesting post and link , im highly interested in the theory crafting behind these concepts right now it seems for stacraft and other such things , being a high level sc2 player myself , it's nice to gain some insight on the core operations of these mediums that makes them tick , i especially loved the mention of how chess is broken in the sense that the game is about memorization and not strategy so some guy just made a randomized version of it , im definitely going to be playing that version of chess from now on.....
and since you posted a great link of that matter i feel like sharing an article i read last night on the current balance issues with sc2
http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=385876
im particularly interested where sc2 fits into all of this , as was mentioned in the post you linked sc2 lowered the skill ceiling of apm greatly over sc1 , but it kinda feels like more than ever right now sc2 at the professional level is a build execution game and not a strategy game.....

Cup_of_Grapes: awesome ep
EntangledHive: What's life without a little chaos
Two-Bit Specialist: Great episode!
caboose_-1: Makes me think of TF2 as a good example...until I remembered that sticky nades are INCREDIBLY overpowered. Yes they're used to kill turrents but it really only takes 2, maybe 3 to kill a level 3 sentry. It's way too easy to just camp and get a lot of kills with basically no skill whatsoever required.

I want to know why all video games are 60 USD at launch, That makes no sence to me.
LnnyOsoTo: I wonder the same thing and I have to theories
1) tradition: when games where cartridges the where expensive to make and sometimes cost even more than 60$ but that was the price range and since we have always bought games at that price then why lower it
2) to make up for the lost if that game is sold used at a way lower prince: I mean, in used games they get no profit so they sell it new at 60$ to still get a nice profit from it
of course those are theories nothing more

You guys should do an episode on non linear storytelling and how it relates to games

I have an idea in case you want to go more in depth on game stories. Theming. How to do it (as a developer), how to interpret it (as a player), examples, etc. I know you had a symbolism episode but I believe theming is fundamentally different.

So, I've been noticing something that doesn't quite sit right with me. Have you guys seen the recent GameFly commercials? I don't think I like them very much. They always wind up portraying those of us who partake in our medium as impatient children prone to mad tantrums. It's kinda insulting. I'm not saying "MAKE AN EPISODE ON THIS", but I'm just wondering what your opinion on it is.

This week, we discuss a major bandwidth problem we're about to run into.
WaldoBomar68: Real clear internet site, appreciate it for this post. male enhancement product I like this site so much, saved to bookmarks.
wolfboy110: got it thanks i guese?
Smoofy: Oh, because your sentences kinda lacked punctuation and Yatzhee is known to make alot of run-on sentences.
wolfboy110: oh and why do you think i should get a job at the escapist?
wolfboy110: 1. i do think we cant take a step back
2. yes i also think that at times devs do neglect that games are games and that i cant wake up and just become the "hero of time" but i would say that its not that our lives are sad or that we dont have enough spice in or life yet instead that we can experience that scenario through our thought and minds who says you cant put down game and go skydiving? or play a game with your family/friends but instead because of the fact on ar games that its a way to use the world around us as a sort of living advertisement in which can be another way to boost the economy or even to just immerse yourself even more and to become that hero and as far as the spectrum crunch without that ability to experience that get away from reality and become the ultimate being or even to become a magical dragon is very sad in the fact that through gaming we can connect to other gamers and to make new friends and even some life advice maybe to just stop being bored and to experience another world or just to connect to a character and again not being able to do that is unfortunate and needs to be stopped its not that our lives are sad but that we can experience new things and i am all for that so that spectrum crunch will stop or cripple that experience and that (again) must be stopped or prevented for gamer kind and the very reason that some sites or relation ships happen now imagine no you tube aka Peta and the spectrum crunch is like that but for the gamers online and for the internet like no screwattack this is despicable and while caused by our uses it must be stopped by us also and we must ban together for that and many other reasons

This week, we conclude our discussion on ARGs, this time with Augmented Reality Games.
TommieChari48: Some times its a pain in the ass to read what blog owners wrote but this site is really user pleasant! vigrx plus I am no longer positive the place you're getting your information, but great topic. I must spend some time finding out much more or figuring out more. Thanks for magnificent info I was searching for this info for my mission.
OpheliaViteaux28: Wonderful items from you, man. I have bear in mind your stuff previous to and you are just extremely wonderful. I actually like what you have obtained right here, certainly like what you are saying and the best way by which you are saying it. You make it enjoyable and you continue to care for to keep it wise. I can not wait to learn much more from you. That is really a great site. vigrx Sweet site, super pattern, really clean and utilize genial.
Two-Bit Specialist: First time I'm hearing of this Google Eye.
ShinyTotodude: Hey, great work again! I really enjoy your show a lot but I'd be also highly interested in watching something like your personal top 100 of cool videogame remixes. Sorry, if that might be coming in an odd choice of subject but really! I love what you always pick for your credits in each episode. You have a great taste! X///3
pre10do64: Pretty optimistic viewpoint. I'm just waiting for the dramatic increase of car accidents when theses glasses launch.

This week, we tackle the rampant bullying, misogyny and hate speech that occurs within the gaming community.
Joriss: Hmmm, why do I have a feeling that this is a US-thing? I live in europe and I barely get any bad messages on xbox live (aside from 'you n00b' or 'you suck' from a sore loser once or twice a month) and seeing this heavy message-sending-business, I wonder just how often US-gamers get loaded with this kind of harassment....
Erik: LOL WHOA "can i poop on ur chest"
Lordlundar: Is it wrong that I like Alison's idea at 2:27? :)
Xaxal Eternitum: One solution, though this could be seen as controversial: Destroy the notion of a separate online culture. As the Internet becomes more integrated in our lives, we can no longer say that some things are ok because you are on the internet and that, more and more, our actions in the internet need to reflect behaviour in real life. I'm not against humor, and a lot of people know how to take a joke, but there are times when things are taken to fucking far.
ExplodingLobster: Funny how all those messages had terrible spelling and grammar. It suggests that those kind of people are idiots.

This week, we look back on the last year and a half of Kinect and offer some new observations about the device.
firehazard51: I feel like you guys need the greatest slow clap every because of how spot on you guys are with your thinking of why motion controls aren't fun/good and how they could be fun and why some games are fun to use with motion controls.
STEFFENHELLANDNEW: Good episode.
mrDesertDiamond: Great episode guys!
Phoonn: great episode about the controller and person interacting.
KAMSTER: Awesome episode
