Ferret75: Getting a computer that runs most games costs a lot, and doing all the research for specific individual specs for different components is another consideration. Exclusives are yet another. I have an expensive Fujitsu laptop with tablet functions, and it's kind of picky on what games it can strongly support or not. It processes some games slowly, though some games like ones from Valve work without any noticeable problems. Not that PC gaming is bad though; the setup is ideal for some games. It depends on the person.

darkhyrulelord: The games may be cheap, but the components required to play them cost a bit more money. .....plus PC gaming is difficult to play locally with unless the other person has LAN set up including everything required to play it.

Angelwrath: Yeh PC 360 controller was definitely a good pickup, I use mine for racing games and third person games (action/adventure, gta / tomb raider for example), never for first person though, oh and emulators (though xbox 360 dpad is so bad, only downside to it)
Xaxal Eternitum: Umm, the monitor's can be obtained pretty easily, the hard drive is included, and OS can be factored in as well.

Yup. I'm officially done with Moviebob. After hearing that The Game OverThinker is moving to another web outlet and will be replaced on ScrewAttack by a new show of Bob's, I got curious and checked out his "The Big Picture" series over at The Escapist. Listening to him use terms like "heteronormative" and "verbal violence" was not uniquely irritating. What killed my remaining interest in his video material, however, was this suggestion he made that refusal by gamers to obey libertine diarrhea should not be afforded any place on the internet. Unsubscribed. Good riddance.

Anti_Hipster: Thank you for directing me there. You're brutal honesty in this pussy-footing culture is refreshing. I had never thought of the idea of gay people demanding that the site bend to their will as arrogant and laughable. It was just something I disliked, but I also just accepted it as "a given on the internet." After reading how you put it, you put into words how I only felt. And yes the mods would have a field day with you on the forums.

Anti_Hipster: Wow I haven't been on Screwattack in a while. That's crazy about Jared leaving. Say what I will about Jared, but it is disappointing how small the original team is getting. I miss the days on Sidescrollers with Corey, Destin and Craig. That was some good chemistry right there. While I don't like Jared per se, I think he's a decent fit for Sidescrollers and I'm hoping he'll be replaced by Nick. I think Nick has a good personality that could work well.
