The 1980s brought us arcade classics that would set standards for the entire industry, but which ones were our best ever?
dbzfanboy-press...: Jeezus Krist dude lol.
dbzfanboy-press...: Original Ninja Gaiden was such a punishingly difficult quarter-eater lol
Emeraldsonic101: Now, am I the only one that thought Berzerk was cool? Anyone?
BlueFlameBat: Where do they find these remixes?! I don't see an entry for the arcade version of TMNT on Overclock's page. I think my favorite was either Golden Axe or TMNT, by the way. I was really into beat-em-ups.
xakhaz: Do a best Ever about eatereggs :D

Might I suggest a best ever for cheat codes or a worst ever for gamer traits(backseat gaming or squeakers)?

With the PS4 on its way, we share our stories from Sony's best EVER launch days!
UndeadHayabusa: Craig is my hero...and the biggest on Earth, but my hero nonetheless
jordanv78: Wow what a story! I didn't realize you missed a chance to go to the Playboy mansion for that Charity event you did! ...and I've been a fan of ScrewAttack for years. Great video guys!
markpierceLFC: I think it's something from Uncharted
JiCi: I only experienced one launch in my life: the Wii... because I usually don't buy consoles at launch.
Here's the thing: I didn't preorder it because many stores in my area closed pre-orders like 3-4 months before the release. I was working at a Toys'R'Us and I thought that they would get 30 consoles, as the flyer said that the store would get a minimum of 13. They got only 13 consoles... and when I was in line I was the 16th. So, a bit bummed out, I went to work and watched the LONG line-up inside the store from my cash register spot. I had my parents standing at other stores to get it, but it was hard. An hour later, my parents come in and tell me that they got the console at an EBgames close by, but not the game, which I said it wasn't too bad since games are easier to find. One hour later after that, they came back and tell me that they got the game (Twilight Princess) at a local Zellers. I refunded my parents after that, since I did plan to to buy myself... but I'll never sell my Wii, because of the hard work they've done that day.

JuicieJ: You'd think Sony would have learned from their PS3 campaign prior to launch and not repeated that with the PS4. Yeah, key words "you'd THINK". That's not what happened at all. <_<

All Zelda games are good, right? There could never be a WORST one! Evidently that's not the case.
PSap29: Was it your first time playing the game? I played it when I was a kid, but the last couple of times I've played it, it hadn't aged that well.
superZAKTAN: Wind waker was awsome
ThePopcornWeasel: and yet again, the skyward sword hate bandwagon keeps on rolling and doesn't look like its coming to a stop anytime soon
ScrewySerebii: LoZ: CDI
Blockhead97: skyward sword was amazing and fi never bugged me but also the good Zora are river Zora, they would have died if they didn't evolve into the Rito

2. all 3 playstation - controllers now to much just good controllers
3. Dreamcast - not the best thumb stick but i like the VMU and the size
4. SNES - it's my favorite controller with out those hand grippy things and it's fine with out them
5. N64 - you're hand's are kinda of close but the bottons are good and really i find it rather comfortable
1. XBOX 360 Controller - Sits comfortable, avoids a lot of hand pressure points which help for long gameplay, doesn't feel like it's going to slip out after a while.
2. GameCube Controller - FYI, left joystick is so loose from playing too much Smash Bros. Nuf said.
3. PS Controller - Last choice. Not as comfortable and ...quite frankly gets annoying after a while (especially some of the trigger controls), but it's nice I guess.
Though I played a lot of classic systems too, going back and playing them now, they were just ok, but when you had no alternatives, you can't really say that comparing an XBOX 360 controller to a Genesis controller is fair. Now if we're talking classic controls, for me I guess:
1. Sega Genesis High Frequency 6-Button Controller - (Awesome, though it broke ALL THE DAMN TIME! I think I we bought like 5 of them x_X)
2. N64
3. Sega Saturn Controller
For modern games, Xbox360 controller.
- Playing in a first-person shooter? I'll dominate n00bs with a keyboard and mouse (with a Wiimote and Nunchuck coming in at 2nd) over a more clunky, less precise controller any day of the week. (Heck, I'd even prefer to use a light gun, that's found on arcade machines, over a controller!)
- Playing a real-time strategy game? Well, only a keyboard and mouse will allow me to make full use of the hotkeys needed to win at StarCraft or Command & Conquer.
- Playing a 2D or 3D platformer? A Dualshock controller should handle most platforming games' needs (including Super Mario Bros or Spyro the Dragon), unless they're combo-heavy beat-em-up platformers (see below).
- Playing a Japanese RPG (like Final Fantasy)? I'd prefer to play them on a Nintendo DS, with touch screen support to cut down on the amount of needless button scrolling.
- Playing a western RPG? Like RTS games, they tend to be hotkey-intensive, so I'll stick with a keyboard and mouse when playing World of Warcraft.
- Playing a racing game? One comfy little joystick on my left thumb, a few buttons next to my right thumb, and 2 trigger buttons each near both my left and right index fingers, while the rest of my fingers comfortably grip the controller, is all that I'll ever need. Motion-sensitive controllers, such as the Wii Wheel, are too sensitive for my needs. (Case in point, I prefer playing Mario Kart Wii with a Classic or Gamecube Controller over a Wii Remote or Wii Wheel.)
- Playing any combo-heavy beat-em-up or hack-and-slash games (like Devil May Cry or Dark Souls)? I personally find simple gestures with a Wii Remote (with Wii MotionPlus) and Nunchuck to be easier to figure out than memorizing a bunch of silly button combinations. (I don't want to play Simon Says in a videogame, which is why I was never a big fan of beat-em-ups, or fighting games for that matter.)
So good.
