You know, it means a lot to me to get a response like that to something I write. I've been going through some tough times lately (and now the peanut gallery in my head will chime in here with "HEY! Who hasn't?"), and when I write and put myself out there in any forum and end up getting little to no responses back, it can start to get bleak and demoralizing pretty fast. ScrewAttack is not like that...but job searching is a million times over. In any case, it's times like these when I appreciate what ScrewAttack, the AVGN, Extra Credits, TGO, and all the rest have produced over the few short years they've stormed onto the scene to become the masters of the Internet -- and for all of us to enjoy for *FREE* (negating whatever it costs to access the Internet at all, of course). When you're livin' on your own for the first time ever, it's precious to have something to look back to once in a while to make you laugh, remember simpler times, and keep you grounded in knowing that those simpler times don't have to be nostalgic and in the past. As it happens, I got together with an old college buddy last night, and while watching Curiosity touchdown on Mars, we busted out Mega Man X3 and had an absolute blast (pun somewhat intended). It's times like that especially when you KNOW that supporting events like SGC is important because there's just not enough opportunities like that anymore to game with people IN PERSON with arcades giving way to online gaming.
