Bomb-Omb Lover 1: I can understand of what you are saying, but I think you missed the point. I really wasn't angry that aLttp was higher than OoT. I was angry that the original LoZ game was higher than OoT. I personally think that OoT is better game than the original LoZ, but I do believe OoT and aLttP are both equal in their own way. If G4 switch Oot with LoZ, I wouldn't complain about this at all. I'm sorry if I didn't make this point clear.

wacto: You said you shouldn't put Super Mario Bros. as #1 because of nostalgia and 'starting it all', but then you said to make Ocarina of Time higher that a Link to the Past for that same reason. OoT is considered "the best LoZ game" many times because of nostalgia and being the first 3D Zelda game, but as far as content goes, aLttP is much better. The story is more advanced, the puzzles are way more difficult (as is the rest of the game) and the game is much longer than OoT.

smoke108: Another forum I'm a part of talked about #1. Just because it rebooted the game industry, tat does not mean that there are better games. Would you rather play SMB or SMW? It's a bit of a copout to say "It started it all, so it automatically gets #1".

The Self Procla...: It's hard to regard a list labeled "of all time" as anything but laughable. These things are entirely subjective and dependent on one's own feelings of a particular entry. This is not secluded to this medium as "top films of all time" or "top books of all time" are subjective as well.
