As a result the reasons for men to commit (violent) crimes are decreasing, while the reasons for women to commit (violent) crimes. The result: total amount of violent crimes have been decreasing sharply since the early nineties, among men it has been decreasing even more sharply; while the violent crime perpetrated by women has been increasing.

Yes, and the problem is that men are still objectified for their utility and wealth by women, and their disposability by and for society. It results in men being socialized to suppress and ignore their own pain and the pain in other men. At the same time they are taught to see themselves as the ones who earn the money so the woman can spend it; and if he doesn't make enough, he better start fast, one way or another.

However, if present day trends are continuing, and there's no reason why they shouldn't stay the same, then soon, men being the ones predominantly committing crimes, may no longer be the case.
