Remakes are cool in all but I'd rather know what's new in Hoenn than play the same game from 10 years ago.
CRAZ1: Seeing Black White 2 having the 3 Regis and Latios Latias, the change of a RS remake is slim. But DAMN I LOVE RUBY!
Exploding Deer: Max is not the new protagonist. I just want him in there one way or another. I put 'older protagonist' in the section about stuff we should expect because I can't tell if the protagonists of Black and White 2 are new characters or just older versions of the protagonists from the originals.
The SpoonMan Ab...: Good stuff. Though I think a NEW protagonist besides "Max" would be best. Rest of the ideas are excellent though.

Digimon and No More Heroes aren't exactly similar franchises and most people have no idea who either of these characters are. So... Why am I suggesting this as a Death Battle? Well, read on to see why these two have more in common and more fighting potential than you might think!
Exploding Deer: Again, based off just the movie, Scott doesn't appear to have the wide variety of moves that Travis does and had to have Ramona fight for him against Roxy. While there are the 2 boss fights in NMH2 that Shinobu fights for Travis, it seems pretty obvious to me that Travis could've taken down New Destroyman and Million Gunman if Shinobu and Sylvia would've let him. But, still, you're probably right about Glastonbury not being used and, even with everything I just said, I realize that the fight would be much closer than I made it seem in this blog. Anyway, I'm glad you liked this blog enough to subscribe. Spread the word! More content will be here soon.
LousyTactician: Holy shit. This Death Battle recommendation blog is really good! It's rare to see a Death Battle discussing one match-up be this well thought out.
I'm not a hardcore Digimon fan and would probably need to visit a few wiki-pages to make a proper analysis, but everything with Travis you've got down.
"Scott Pilgrim comes entirely from the movie and, based on his portrayal in said movie, I'm pretty sure that Travis would chop him in half without much of a fight."
I strongly disagree with this claim though. I have read the Graphic Novels, Seen the movie, and played the game and I honestly think even looking at what Scott is capable of doing in the film alone he still has a strong advantage over Travis.
I've seen some people argue that Travis's Glastonberry would easily defeat him, but my problem with that is.
A. Scott has defeated a pretty massive giant robot in the XBLA/PSN game (it's on Stage 5).
B. While Travis is a massive asshole, he still believes in a fair fight and wouldn't use the robot unless his opponent had a similar mech to challenge him with.
