Flapperdoodle's Wall
Important thing to always remember is to strive for a sort of balance. But also remember that school has priority.
Both lists were excellent, in choices and writing, but one entry hit me right in the nostalgia; CHIP'S CHALLENGE FTW
Both lists were really good and interesting to read. Bigjoe's had a good sense of humor within his, but I'm going to have to give my vote to WOODY on this one since I felt that he discussed the stances on both stances of the games he has chosen and of defending them. Still was far from an easy choice to make. I wish the best to both of you.

You want perfect comic book movies? that movie is quite easily the perfect adaptation of everything the 2000 AD series is and should be.

I disagree with your criticism on Life of Pi, I think Lee deserved the win because I honestly he felt he made what many people thought was an unfilmable book and made it work. That's a achievement in and of itself. Also, its the only film that I really felt like that director's film. Russell did a good job, and he always gets great performances out of his actors. I felt Lee was more deserving of it, and was really surprised when he got it. Also, Life of Pi's score was great, and was surprised that got the win over Lincoln or Skyfall, but again, it was a nice surprise.
.....Can you tell that I really like Life of Pi?
I'm glad that Argo won over Lincoln. I thought that film was good, but not great (the acting is phenomenal), and it just seems like something the Academy would pick over more deserving and daring material (a la The Kings Speech winning over Social Network, or Crash winning over Brokeback Mountain).
SO GO WATCH ARGO, LIKE, RIGHT NOW!!!!
Looks like I still need to see Argo and Life of Pi. I would've rather seen Lincoln win more, but Les Miserables and Django deserved their wins. Especially Christoph Waltz, that guy was... actually, I disagree, he shouldn't have won 'Best Supporting Actor' because he should've won 'Best Actor'. Jamie Foxx was great as Django but Waltz's performance was just one of those once-in-a-lifetime perfected roles. He upstaged Django in a movie called 'Django Unchained'. That takes skill.
... Sorry. I couldn't resist.
EDIT: Oh, and even though Anne Hathaway was brilliant, totally nailing 'I Dreamed a Dream', then nearly every other main female character in Les Miserables had more screentime and more performances than her. Not that she doesn't deserve it, but... she was not in the movie enough to warrant the award, for me. Alright, edit over.
