ForRealz: no to merge the 3 split offs would just reqire 3 games with 1 sequal with the 3 games haiving multiple endings (like mass effect) but it doesnt need the multiple endings it can just happen like ocarina started the splits 1 game can merge them again
7/5/12 12:35pm
Dark_Link_Killer: Merge the timeline's? That is an interesting thought, I would have never thought of that
7/5/12 3:25am
Lloyf: You can split timelines but you can't merge them.

Single player enjoyment or online stress ?
6/7/12 12:03pm
Khyman: I do prefer a good story line of a single player campaign over the monotonous grind of mutiplayer but I think where a good game shines for me is when you can play an immense, engaging story with other friends or players if you choose or play it on your own if you like. An example is Diablo 2 or 3 where you can play on your own (annoyingly you need an internet connection to do this however) or play through the story with other friends. I find it better to all have headsets on skype while playing so you can chat about what is happening at the same time. MMO's also seem to be good for this such as Guild Wars and The Old Republic

ForRealz: thanks for your guys opinions :), and i get where ur both coming from, very few games are dedicated to story mode these days its sad

Dark_Link_Killer: For me I don't care about online or FPS's. Even to this day I say single player games are where it's at (For me at least) Now there is a few FPS with great single player that I like,Half life, halo CE, metroid prime (And very few others), but online FPS always seem to get me board with the game really fast. But a single player game always has what I am looking for, a great story, game play, etc. If I want a game with great game play I head to zelda, if I want a game with a great story/adventure I head to JRPG's, if I want a adventure I head to Western RPG's, and so on. But a FPS is all the same, go around shoot people, and shoot more people. It's all really boring and I don't see why people want to buy the same thing all the time? I say it's a waste of money, but again this just an opinion

Gaijin Goomba: This is what has kept me out of the majority of the current gen games. So much is focused on "social" (I use that term VERY loosely...) i.e. being #1 and growing one's epeen, and not as much about a good single (or even couch coop) experience. There's a number of exceptions, but I feel that gaming has gone totally social.

Dark_Link_Killer: I have only played Prince of Persia that you have mentions in that list and briefly played Mass effect but it was fun for the short amount of time I played it. As for Capcom, I only like Dead rising, Konami, I only play the classic konami games (Contra, original castlevania etc.), Atlus and Nippon Ichi I have never heard of. I always wanted to try some of the games you mentioned though but due to money I can't. I will eventually though, especially dead space and assassins creed.

Fulchrum: As well as Ubisofts (Assassins Creed, Prince of Persia), Eidos (Hitman, Deus Ex, Tomb Raider), EA (Dead Space, Mirrors Edge, Crysis, Dragon Age, Mass Effect), Nippon Ichi, Atlus, Capcom, Konami....
5/28/12 9:26pm
Dark_Link_Killer: But yes there is a bunch of single player games I enjoy
5/28/12 9:09pm
Dark_Link_Killer: By few I mean Nintendo, Bethesda, Bioware, and a few Sony game's (ex. Little big planet, demon souls, etc.) Not even close to hundreds, unless you thought I meant games, no I meant company's.
5/28/12 9:06pm
Fulchrum: And by few, you mean hundreds, right?
