The idea of one check per day is because the discs can now be installed and you can play without them, So you can lend the disc and the user can play it freely IF the game disc is inside (which i found normal to a lended disc by some friend), and in that way, if lay the game with the disc there should not be any problems for playing offline. The idea of lending some games pertime only with people that are friends of yours was in case that your friend want it digital.Imagine that you have a friend miles away so it would be difficult to lend a phisical game, that's why you can give the digital for 30 days and it needs the periodical connection to check the origin of the game you are playing with... doesn't seems to look that bad if people think about it... besides you will not going to lend a game to any person...
I've heard you can share a family group with 10 people to share games, and xbox live to family which has accounts but doesn't have gold. So the xone owner has gold the other will have too
the only thing I'm worried about is the region system (I'm out of the country list) which sucks plus infinite, but well, sounds ridiculous to fuck it up with something like that...
