Today on Hard News, EA's new MOBA "Dawngate" and closing their Online Pass system, and Nintendo dooms Let's Play channels.
paindrain: Speak for yourself, because you didn't speak for me... I will heavily weigh this in the future, and as douchey as it is, I had no problem ever pirating games. I'm not a huge gamer, and would forgo gaming before I would drop major coin to any corrupted biz, and sadly that list gets longer and longer. By all means though, drop your cash and support bullshit decisions, it doesn't bother me!

TwistoFate: I'm sorry, but I still cannot see your point at all, LPs are very unlikely to create a steady source of income unless the person is super popular which is exceedingly hard to do with competition like Pewdipie, The Runaway Guys, and Nakateleeli. LPin CAN be a secure job, but right now it definitely isn't with game companies making sudden and surprising decisions left and right.
Also who in their right mind would start being an LPer to gain money anyway? History has shown that those who do something creative purely for money end up making something that is lackluster and disappointing. Most LPers start LPs to entertain and inform other gamers, they are either in college or already have a job so any income they get from their videos is just convenient.

Badalight: There are hundreds of lets players that use it as their main source of income - and some of them can EASILY provide for their families. The average LPer no... but someone like PewdiePie literally makes millions of dollars - of course he is by FAR the most popular but the point still stands. It's easily possible to be make well above minimum wage.
And if anything, lets playing is a more secure job than most nowadays. People are getting laid off left and right (just look at the game industry) but let players can't be laid off. The only thing they have to worry about are cases like these. It's an incredibly secure job under normal circumstances.

YES. An actual woman who is an anti-feminist. See feminism isn't automatically synonymous with women and their rights. Her name is GirlWritesWhat on youtube. She's so intelligent and well spoken that she has been officially invited to be on Joe Rogan's podcast. Here is her speaking at a Libertarian convention. The video here is over an hour long, but her videos are usually much shorter.

As far as Freedom Wars, THAT looks like a game I'd pick up a Vita for but I want to see more details.
