ScrewAttackSam: SamAttack was actually a April fools joke suggested by Jared a long time ago, it almost happened.

If you want to enjoy all the features it has to offer that is.
E-GAG101: 25 Mbps sounds pretty good for me, I live in the middle of a field and when I download something it goes at about 500 Kbps on a good day
ShinraCorp: I can predict this one: It's a failed product. Don't get me wrong it looks OK. However selling this for 350$ is just overpricing it. Also why have both a controller and a touch screen? I understand that some Android games won't support the controller settings but that's the developers fault, if you get rid of touch screen you can shave off a good 20-40$ off of it. Also who the hell wants to "stream" PC games? There's no use to it, I mean are you gonna leave your PC on when you leave on vacation, and the second you're SHIELD is connected to Wi-Fi you'll be playing it? I'm sorry but the amount of data it requires to stream something is pretty high and in North America... we get mediocre speeds (25 Mbps) for 60$, not everyone is gonna pay 60$ for that.
Black Summer: Shield is a lame name, Burning hands is way better
Xaxal Eternitum: Between the 3DS, Vita, Razer Edge, and this, I'll take options 1, 2, and 3.
I know, the Edge is bloody expensive, but at least it is a portable PC as opposed to being just a PC streaming device.

Faith: Isn't streamed from a computer mean that I can't play PC games out of my house? Also, I don't know what the software lineup for this is going to be but I can't really expect it to be better than first party games. It seems to me like a WiiU tablet with connected to the PC... and I already have a phone so...

Today on Hard News, EA big cheeses selling their stock, Ace Attorney coming to USA and Europe, and new X & Y Pokemon revealed.
CAVEMANLAWYER: lol news hard ha
ChildishHero: Oh Sam, you're so adorable when you really try your best.
ScrewAttackSam: Dude I would love to play Jared in a feature length episode of news room, but that is not going to happen in our foreseeable future.
werdman24: That was pretty good Sam.
Icipall: Sam looks like a used cars salesman.

Today on Hard News, Road Redemption Kickstarter, Shadow Warrior remained, and Aliens: Colonial Marines turns a profit.
Janos: I like the banner you guys put up on the main page for Hard News!
darkhyrulelord: Sad how such a bad game got so much money while Tomb Raider is in the red.
Kenshiro3: They should follow EA's example & rename Road Redemption, Road Rash: Redemption. After all they aren't violating EA's copyright. They are just exercising their Freedom of Speech.
BigBossofMoss: No problem.
Chad: Thanks for the heads up, I went in and adjusted it.

You heard me right. SEGA turned a profit on that monster...
Shizno759: Am I the only one who completely understands why Colonial Marines turned a profit? It was marketed very well and made us believe it was good. So everyone bought it, just to return in the next day or so without a refund to their money.
Not surprising in the slightest.
Not surprising in the slightest.
pre10do64: Except this time it's failure = success
pre10do64: 1.3 mil units. That's like 62 million dollars. How much did they spend? Maybe the don't have crazy sales expectations like Ubisoft and EA.
luhsolowing: To each his own.
hazelnut1112: It's pretty fucking despicable if you ask me. And Borderlands is a bland game. There is seriously nothing appealing that came out in that series, it was a retarded grindfest. Hopefully this will bite Gearbox in the ass in the future.

It looks to be a re-imagining of the franchise...
Evilkinggumby: I wonder if they'll take the core concept of poking fun at stuff and run with it, butnot be as blatantly racist as the original game was, or if they'll just match the tone and humor of the original and bank on the free press for offensive, racist humor and sell millions despite the outrage... Hell why isn't Running With Scissors doing the remake? lol... It could be really good or really.. bland. I am praying it to be really good, I loved the old game, warts and all, and I'd enjoy more.
pre10do64: Sweeeeeeeet!
Erndog2k: I loved this game a kid, was entirely way to inappropriate for my age. I cant even remember how I got it but it was awesome.
5/10/13 5:06pm
This spiritual successor may even be able to come with the Oculus Rift support...
LegendStormcrow: Awesome!
Shoggoth8852: YAY! A game on the Wii U eShop that I will buy without doubt or hesitation!
EnigmaXtreme: You can add another game to the Wii U lineup!!!!

Today on Hard News, Batgirl DLC trailer, Wolfenstein opts out of multiplayer, and Diablo 3 economy ruined.
PaultheMellow: So it does. :3
darkhyrulelord: Regarding Diablo 3. ....ouch. Also, it's interesting to see a FPS only going the single player route.
FinalplayerRyu: Good thing i have always been a solo player in any Diablo game, so i dont really care at all.
Fiery_Elf: Diablo 3's economy has been messed up since a long time ago so I don't think it matters much -_-.
Omega Riddler: Using my copy of Mortal Kombat 9 as a prediction, don't buy the DLC yet, wait until they release the game with the DLC on disc at a much cheaper price, right now I'm just enjoying the Injustice Gods Among Us comic

Well this is a surprise
Kenshiro3: the last one was practically ruined by its multiplayer...
Bortch: I am nervous with their choice to exclude multiplayer. Granted, I did not play the newest Wolfenstein on PS3 or 360, but I did play the older ones on PC. The reason they last so longer was because of multiplayer. The multiplayer had different classes, each with a non-customizable loadout but a special ability that made them unique.
Medics could revive dead partners (even though you can still respawn the maps were so big that getting back to the action could take a while), the gunners gave out ammo, scouts could mark characters. If you've ever played Call of Duty 3's multiplayer (I'm taking the WWII one made by Treyarch back in the day) then you know what their influence is now.
What made multiplayer so great was that you never really revolved around eliminating the enemy team, it was best when you played objectives like protecting a tank through a broken down castle to reach the other end. One team always spawned in the floor level with the tank and walked with it to make sure it was protected while the other team spawned on felt lot like a single player campaign and having 30+ people at a Lan party to play it with always made it intense and fun. sometimes a game could take 2-3 hours to complete. That's insane even by PC gaming standards today.
However, I am aware that this is probably not the same team that worked on the old game so I guess I should start getting surprised when these companies head off in a different direction. We'll see how it turns out, but I really wish they would consider something in terms of grand scale multiplayer in the future, especially with the PS4 and "INFINITE" coming out.

luhsolowing: hopefully this will be a game with 20 levels of face melting fun with massive swarms of Nazis, overpowered weapons and no regenerating health.
tricobalt: Something tells me there was a multiplayer but they realized that it sucked so they didn't release it. Probably though fear of more backlash over shitty games that suck ass.
Iron65: Nice decision!

If you thought Diablo 3's in game economy was having trouble before.... Just wait until you hear this...
MagnumMagnus: I'd say it's a good thing the real economy doesn't work this way, but it pretty much does.
VettoRyo: Ones again proving some games don't need an AH
digitaldebaser: Blizz promises that the PS3 version won't be as jacked up, and now I sorta wish I had a PS3 to play it on there instead.
NemesisTrestkon: True. But because of this, DRMing the game has become pointless.
Gedillt: I'm waiting for the PS3 version since I don't have a decent PC. Used to play Diablo II all the time back in the day
