The Emperor is all-powerful... unless you stand uncomfortably close to him.
Linklex7: I never really had much of a problem beating The Emperor. It was always escaping the Death Star that kept me from beating this game over a decade ago. Though it is nice to see how easy it can be to beat him.

Tom the Iron Man: One of the hardest end bosses in the SNES library and I had no idea there was an exploit as simple as that.

This game wasn't hard because of the bosses, it was hard because of the awkward jumps.
I Beat The Nintendo: Haha yep, that's the level where you think you're in good shape, and then lose all your lives in one swift shot.
Tknight: :P I have DDII for my Nintendo. And just gonna say that the platform level essentially shows who plays that specific game too often. I LOVE that level for the sole purpose of seeing my partners fail in it :P
