I'm so sick of all the Call of Duty "jokes", I could puke. In fact, this whole tirade the gaming community is going on against the entire FPS genre in recent years just needs to go away. Nobody who actually has some kind of appreciation for the series at this point would knowingly add fuel to the fire. So why on earth are you making the community (I.E yourself) look worse? If you really like the games, please don't exasperate the problem.

Well, time to start rage quitting again.
Quark: Thanks. :B Really, though, one of my biggest pet peeves in gaming these days is when almost from the very beginning the NPCs are like "Oh, you're the coolest thing ever! Please live up to our seemingly-impossible-yet-totally-easy-to-achieve expectations!"
Borderlands 2 is a good recent example of this, despite the fact I love that game. Everyone's like "Hey look, a Vault Hunter! You're a badass!" It's almost laughable how often your character gets called a badass, actually. It's even sillier when you realize that pretty much anyone in the entire world can be a vault hunter if they wanted to be. All you have to do is hunt for a vault for like three seconds.

FAWCUNPAWNCH: Not really,Fromsoftware can't legally make a new Demon's souls game,as sony owns the Demon's Souls franchise.That is,unless they make it a ps3 exclusive,which I don't think is a viable option.
fpsbcheezit: Dark Souls was a spiritual successor, not a sequel.
APPL3JU1C3: Because Dark souls was Demon Souls II, so it seems kind of stupid to call it Dark Souls II, as if its completely disregarding Demon Souls.
FAWCUNPAWNCH: They said the story would be more direct,although keeping what fans like about the hidden lore.Also,they said the game would feature a unique online server based system,which could be awesome considering how unique the online system in dark souls already is.Finally,it looks like they're getting a bigger budget for the game,so AI problems could be less of a problem.
