The Vita, a year after its been released, has remained a failure. How come it hasn't taken off yet? More importantly, can it be saved? Is it time to call the Vita, which is Latin for life, Mors?

Elrood: Man, I was so pumped for the Vita but what a mess it has been. The worst thing is that Sony just didn't fucking learn from their past mistakes. It was the same for the PS3 at its launch and even Nintendo made the same mistake with the 3DS at first.
MagnumMagnus: Technologically, the Vita is an amazing device. Had I the funds, I would snatch one up tout suite(I don't speak French, piss off). Here's why I won't be anytime soon:
I want a 3DS too, and it's cheaer and has more games I know I'll want, so it's the logical choice.
While plenty of titles on the Vita are worth playing, none of them are enough to make me buy one just to play them.
If I hafta choose between a system that's pricier and has fewer games I want vs. a cheaper one that does, the choice is clear.

spaceruben: As long as they keep releasing RPG and Strategy RPG games for this system I will keep playing it.

It's no real secret that Playstation All-Stars bombed. The true question is this, why did it fail? How did so much potential go to waste?
DanGuy: It's a shame really. They could have added more iconic and more well-deserving characters you mentioned here like Spyro (original), Crash Bandicoot, Cloud Strife, Lara Croft (original), heck, even Squall seems to be a more appropriate choice. But no, we get New! Dante and Lightning. Their games aren't even exclusives.

You completely ignored his statements, in order to spew the same old crap that you always do. I'm not sure whether that's because you're hoping that he won't press the issue, or because you're just talking out of your ass. I got this strange feeling that if you found a good argument against your case (which could be any of the arguments made against your case so far. Take your pick) you would just write it off as a "Garbage comment."

darkhyrulelord: PS All stars isn't a bad game, but I agree that it could have been much, much more. This game could be a lot better, for one, if had more recognizable characters and more fast controls other than just relying on 12 attacks. More unlockables could have gone a long way too.

PROTIP: don't accuse someone of fanboyism when you openly admit your own bias because I call out a feature of a game you "thoroughly enjoy." That's hypocrisy of the highest order.

With 2013 coming soon, its time to look back. 12 g1s and I decided on the games that defined 2012. Not GOTY mind you, just what defines 2012?

I will just say Megaman is one of my all time favorite series to justify my reasoning. No I am sorry the only new thing in Street Fighter X Tekken is the online pair play and the gem system but the gem system is just obviously there to steal people's money.
Please go research how many cross overs there are with Street Fighter before saying "Street Fighter X Tekken is obviously a new kind of fighting game".
Actually people have a right to be angry about on disc DLC and those who are angry about it are clearly justified for there anger. Those defending it are not justified at all. You have no valid argument and just sound like a Capcom fanboy, which is probably the worst type of fanboy because you are the people who keep buying there garbage instead of letting them know it is wrong.

darkhyrulelord: Lots of good examples of "2012 games" being used. I especially like what was said on Borderlands 2 and Pokemon, since that to me feels the most....descriptive of the year. Borderlands on how close it feels to the real world and Pokemon as to how the games are being like this year.
Tommahawk: I tried to make my entry as non-ranty as possible. But sometimes it just devolved into it. That's what you get when you don't really have writing experience.. Though I still think that my entry was alright
Lloyf: I totally agree about the walking dead. it's an amazing game with a great story. I have to disagree about borderlands 2 though. I played around 6 hours of it at a friends house and found it to be extremely boring except for parts where you could get in vehicles.

There are lots of games coming in October, and Madhero15 (and his buddy Fjveca) are here to preview them all.
darkhyrulelord: Wow, that's quite the list of previews you have there....nice work! Personally, the most that interest me this month are Pokemon BW v2, Professor Layton, and maybe AC3 since it looks very polished at least graphically thus far. I might try out RE6 later along with the Anthology collection.

JETZ.acx: If there's the sense of collaboration in this project, I'll do my absolute best to promote this, even so far as share it on my g1 Features accounts (the blogs in your page, not move the series to g1 Features ;) ). Since there's not exactly a "preview" feature here on ScrewAttack (g1 Digital Forecast is close but we can only cover this much with trailers), a blog series focusing on this is what we need.

MadHero15: Sorry you feel that way. I was going to be mature about, telling screwattack that their featuring policy isn't very good (and that's putting it lightly). I made a blog about it, hoping it would change Screwattack's mind some what.
I got comment from crew members like Sean and Bryan, telling me its good that I criticize them and that they'll look into it. So when they posted the picture with them photoshopped with cat and dog faces that just says MEOW WOOF BLAARHEGER, I feel lied to and pissed of. Of course I don't expect immediate results, but featuring that was just... dumb.
Hence this dumb and stupid parody

In my second viewing, he didn't come across that way. Having more background context, I understood it was genuine.
Making comments that are intolerant of any race/gender/sexuality is strictly prohibited in the comments and I ask you to kindly stop and not do this again. This goes to everyone else, and I ask that this argument does not progress from any side.
Everybody's got an opinion and no one's "right" or "wrong"; there may be regressive and hateful opinions, but opinions they are all the same.
