Fans of Cartoon Network’s breakout series Adventure Time (and I know there are plenty in the g1 community) will be quite happy to know that we finally have a concrete release date for Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why'd you steal our garbage?!!
The game will launch for both the Nintendo DS and 3DS handhelds on November 20 and to celebrate, WayForward released a new trailer featuring the residents of The Candy Kingdom, which can be seen above.
It’s also been revealed that if you’re willing to shill out some extra coin, a special Collector’s Edition with the following bonus swag will also be available:
- Custom package design of the Enchiridion in a premium SteelBook case
- Limited edition replica stylus of Finn's Gold Sword
- Exclusive 'Book of Beasts' bestiary
- Bonus poster map of the Land of Ooo
While the pre-order numbers haven’t been made public, we can say the game has officially gone gold! So congrats go out to the talented developers of the WayForward team!

Um...really? This game doesn't look good at all, IMO. It doesn't even look on par with Zelda 2. Also, sure, the show is awesome, but what does that matter? You'd really buy a game JUST because it's a tie-in to something you like? When has that ever worked out well? On the other hand, I guess the CE bonuses are pretty cool.

this better be good, I haven't liked a cartoon in ten years until I saw Adventure Time. its like the Legend of Zelda (the game not the cartoon) except that the princess have gumy hair.

I'm a fan of Adventure Time and all but I think the most I'll give this game is a rental. I'm sure it'll be the rare case of a good cartoon liscensed game and all but I just don't have the interest and too much other stuff to play to get involved.
