Only thing stopping me from buying the season pass and getting all the maps is the price and the practice because these game companies make you fork out $60 and then are like by the way give us $50 more and will give you content that should have been their in the first place.

Not necessarily... They might have added content that they have been working on after the game's release. In the case of Call of Duty.. I doubt it, but for games such as Borderlands 2 and others, I think the season pass is an OK idea. Not the best but if people want it, they should be able to get it.

Most games now a days make most of the content before hand and then release it as "dlc" personally I remember when games came with a lot of content and now it seems that game companies only care about the money and not about their work. It is a good idea but a lot of people tend not to want to spend $60 for the game and $50 more for dlc. I might buy it but for now I'll pass.

yeah but that content still isn't required to enjoy the game you have purchased, its nothing more than supplementary, unless it contains the original games ending... Can't remember what game did that.
