Capcom announces Ultimate HD Edition of Resident Evil 4 for PC

Yesterday, Capcom announced that Resident Evil 4 will once again be re-released in glorious high-definition, this time on the PC.

Resident Evil 4: Ultimate HD Edition will not only look prettier (an odd choice of words given the context) than the previous PC port but it will also run at a clear, crisp, and fluent 60 FPS. Not to mention it also features controller support, Steam Achievements, access to the Steam Cloud, global leaderboards, Steam Trading Cards, and all of the previously released bonus content such as the Separate Ways epilog chapter.
This remastering will be available world-wide via Steam on February 27 for $19.99/€19.99. I should also note gamers living in Europe will be able to pick up a physical copy at their local retailer if that’s what they’d prefer. Although, the Steam version does have its advantages, as those who pre-order the game through Valve’s digital distribution service, will be treated to its 60-song soundtrack and an 80+ page digital artbook free of charge.
