Ehhhh....... meh. I dunno, looks very... stock. I figured there'd be more to it. We'll see. I can definitely say it looks better than Stallone's of course lol. Not as unknowingly campy.
Another comic book movie where the hero whispers. I'm in.
And yes this movie does have similarities to The Raid: Redemption. Although I don't truly think they meant it to look like, or rip off that movie what so ever. Being as they have been working on this movie since 2008. One more thing, you can't blame Hollywood for this one either people. It being made by the British after all. Which if you ask me, It's better that way, being as the Judge Dredd originated as a British Comic.
I don't care what anyone says. I think this looks pretty good. It isn't going to win any awards or anything, but it sure as hell looks a lot better than the Stallone one. Thank god there isn't any Rob Schneider.
Good fucking riddance... I can only hope that he did what he should have done in the first place at the beginning of the movie, commit suicide.
Awesome to hear.
actor Karl Urban already confirmed that in the movie, he will NOT take off the helmet in the entire film.
Nostalgia Critic get on this now! IAMDALAW!
It seems to be missing something. I got it, Rob Schneider!
You betrayed the law!
i expected more grungier and more sci fi
I meant how in The Raid, cops go into an appt building to stop a drug dealer/crime lord, and they have to fight their way up each floor, while the residents fight for the dealer/lord.
It looks like they combined Batman withThe Punisher. I'm not sure if thats a good thing...
They BETTER not show Dredd's Face...
Guess what one of The Raid: redemption was inspired by :)
This looks a lot like The Raid: Redemption
Actually as silly as it may sound, the original movie was faithful to a point. Both Ricco and Joseph Dredd were cloned as they were from movie to comics(only small flaw was in the movie Dredd didn't know Ricco was his Brother like he does in the comics) the original movie took place in the far future and the original movie like the comics not only Metro City One was corrupted by Crime that everyone was doing and the Judges Outfits were taking from the Comics onto the Big Screen. Of course in this Movie it takes place in Modern Times the only thing that comes from the comics is the Judges Helmets and one Person rules over Metro City One by using a Drug to control everyone and effectively rules over the City....see the Remake movie has almost nothing to do with Judge Dredd unlike the original had a lot to do with Judge Dredd despite it being cheesy at times.
Eh, it looks ok. But nobody can top Stallone's campiness.
I kinda, key word, liked the old one. Wouldn't mind giving this a try. And poor Karl, he can't get away from roles that put him in big helemts.
