Hey everyone! Gaijin Goomba here. To sum up myself... I've been studying about Japanese language, history, culture, economics, everything for eight years now. Two and a half of those eight were actually in Japan. Japan is just my thing. I've also been an avid gamer since the age of 6. (I'm 27 now.) And I admit, I'm a bit of a Nintendo fanboy.
I am also the creator and host of the gaming webshow "Game Exchange" where I try and bring to light a little bit about international gaming culture and how it effects our own. It's my little way to bring my two great loves, gaming and Japan, together.

BTW I usually play games with Japanese dialogue and English subs when I can because you really do lose something in translation.

I saw a little bit of this between the English and Japanese trailers when Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker was coming out. But since David Hayter knows the Japanese culture and lived their for a time, he does a better job at capturing that...strength in stoicism.

And that's really what we need. More voice actors who know what their doing. OR directors who know what their doing.

That's why I love Kris Zimmerman and Andrea Romano. Kris Zimmerman is most known for being the voice director for MGS series in North American while Andrea Romano is known for quality voice directing over Batman: TAS, Superman TAS, basically the whole DC cartoon universe, Avatar: The Last Airbender, etc.
