You know not what I was expecting I think I am going to check this out when the time comes around
Guess this means the holo-clone will be useless now
hm, anti-camping device i like it ~_~
Hmm... A reason for me to actually pick up my 360 again.
Hmm, X-Ray + Thermal visor?
Reminds me of Metroid Prime 2 Dark Visor
I'll be honest, it's thin but it's definitely there. The moment I saw that trailer live the first thing I thought was Metroid Prime. The visor is the most obvious, but the design of the enemies also adds to it and the design of the Promethean technology. For me, it was not only that, but also the fact they took control away from the player at some points, something Halo has not done in previous games, you were never slammed to the ground or forced to look at something. That's something Metroid Prime did very well.
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU GET PEOPLE FROM RETRO TO DEVELOP YOUR GAME
You know what... I don't care. The game look's positively awesome, but it doesn't matter, because I refuse to pay for multiplayer, a feature you could always have for free on the PS3... So an entire half of the game... I'll never be able to experience, so just by how much stuff is in multiplayer, it cemented my choice even more. I am not going to buy this game.
It's just a little joke about how Halo 4 is having a x-ray visor like Metroid Prime and how the jungle environment resembles Tallon IV.
I was already pumped for this because I adore Halo, but wow, somehow I got even more pumped. And holy bawlz does this game look good, visually.
You were SURPRISED Halo 4 and a new trilogy was announced? If you have seen the legendary ending for H3, it'd be the exact opposite. I saw this coming the second I beat H3 on legendary.
Jesus christ, what's with this "it just seems like a way for microsoft to get more money" shit? No fucking kidding are they making the game to get more money. Why would they spend millions of dollars making the game in the first place if it wasn't to make money back? Yeah, people just spend years of their life making something not to get anything back in return. Something can be made just for money AND BE GOOD AT THE SAME TIME. This certainly isn't a quick grab for cash.
Wow, wasn't too amped about this game beforehand but you guys definitely just sold me on it.
How is Halo 4 ripping off Metroid Prime now? Please explain that to me.
It's Prime 4? XD Idk i'll play it sounds good
Love me some Halo and this is no exception from first impressions. Man, that game looks fucking beautiful.
Thanks Screwattack for awesome e3 coverage. High Five!
Huh... so they really ARE ripping off Metroid Prime. This isn't necessarily a bad thing... Metroid Prime is great, so if they're actually taking what's great about that series and what's great about Halo (which I've honestly never been a huge fan of, but I can see what other people do like about it) this might be worth my time.
I've been considering grabbing a 360 with my next paycheck... this might just sell it for me.
this has really got me pumped for the series, i started off at halo 3. Loved reach, ODST was quite different and halo 4 looks like 343 has really tried to keep to the spirit of the game but add just extra stuff to make it there own. I was so happy to see a totally different alien introduced, who's ability would allow so many intresting battles in these environemnts.
For some reason, "two men, one caption" had me rolling.
Huh. Well if I had an xbox I would certainly give it a try, but since I don't, I guess I'll have to miss this one. Oh well, Last of Us > Halo 4.
