I thought Ground Zeroes was the new MGS game? I admit, its hard not to see the similarities and it was most likely a planned publicity stunt but I think this game has nothing to do with the MGS universe.

"Open your eyes" could a result in "Phantom eye syndrome" the hallucination people get when some looses an eye or retinal damage. It can happen at anytime no matter how long a eye been lost......or drugs given to snake.

oh yes, I forgot Dr. Kio Marv wore glasses. He made oilix and befriended madnar and Dr. Clark was paramedic. Jeez...so much info to be remembered and character list in the MGS universe is huge, we need fans to help each other to keep track of them all!

This is the first video game trailer I've seen in a long time that actually has gotten me interested and excited for a game in a big way. Given I know next to nothing about this title, this trailer alone has piqued my interest.

........I dunno. There are some interesting similarities going on but it's still up in the air as a game where you are in some alternate reality.
