Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are the next two entries in Nintendo’s immensely popular pocket monsters franchise. So, during the company’s E3 presentation today, a look at the returning Hoenn region was expected, but more importantly delivered.
After sitting through about a minute of live action, trainers were finally treated to some in-game footage. The trailer showed off the improved visuals and camera from last year’s Pokemon X, highlighting memorable people and locations such as Rustboro gym leader Roxanne as well as everybody’s favorite tree top village, Fortree City.
Also returning from Pokemon X, as previously outed, Mega Evolutions are once-again adding another dimension to battles. In fact, the trailer showed off the respective Mega Evolutions for the starting three Pokemon as well as the legendary Groudon and Kyogre – though still no word on Rayquaza for the rumored Delta Emerald.
However, players will still be able to catch ‘em all in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire when the games arrive exclusively to the 3DS on November 21 later this year.
