A hee hee.
the video said they don't use music but yet they use moon walker sound track lol
This is cool, especially since I was just listening to Ice Cap Zone Thursday and reading about this controversy, perfect timing.
I'm so glad it was a fact. Otherwise, my life would be a lie.
Amen to that. "Here's what our secret source says" My secret source says GT pulled most of this out of their asses. You can't prove me wrong. Also, why would their first source stick to his story, if, like the second "source" states, he did so originally because he wanted to hide the fact that the sound quality sucked. It's been almost 20 years since the game came out. I doubt he cares what people think now.
I was always convinced that Michael Jackson worked on Sonic 3's music, but to see some more legitimate light shed on the subject was definitely interesting. If it really was for quality reasons, then that's kind of a shame in my opinion, since Sonic 3's soundtrack is definitely my favorite out of the Sonic games, and I continue to regard it as one of MJ's coolest accomplishments.
Episodes like this are why I love Pop Fiction.
I'm going to have to call BS on this "research." Never use any information you can't credit.
Wow. A GT video that doesn't have 'SONIC SUX' written all over it. Thank goodness Pop Fiction doesn't have the bias that other GT shows have. Mind you, SEGA tried really hard to screw them over here.
I always thought that the mid-boss theme was the biggest evidence that Jackson worked on the game and it wasn't even mentioned... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9o8RDpzO2E If you listen you can hear a Michael Jackson sounding "Woo!" I'm not sure how you could prove that that was actually him, but I find it odd that this track was removed for sonic 3 & knuckles...
I really like Pop Fiction, It's just too bad we have to wait 1 month for new episodes.
So the directors cut of this #popfiction is finally complete! Nice =D haha makes me wonder how many easter eggs are still out there
I never understood why people thought michale jackson wrote the music to sonic 3 he didn't even write his own songs.
So why was MJ ok with his music being synthesized for Moonwalker ? If he really didn't like the way the music sounded which he was creating specifically for this machine, why was music he had created with much better tools later "downgraded" passable ?
I call bullcocky on the anonymous source and on GT once again. If you have a source you can't name or anything, don't use it in your "research". It's shady journalism at it's best.
I don't hear the similarities between the sonic 3 credits and stranger in moscow.
