RE 6's Resident Evil.net

Capcom just announced Resident Evil.net, a free online service that aims to enhance the RE6 epeience with points, weekly events, and new content and more. Resident Evil.net will be launching along with Resident Evil 6 in October.

Do you remember when you could enjoy a game without it being "enhanced"? And you didn't need to have every movement tracked, and be connected to information overload 24/7?

I am really looking forward to RE:6 and this announcement only makes me think of all the extra play time I will get out of it. Nothing I enjoy more than collecting extras in a RE game.
