I am glad Screwattack made this video, but I am also sad that they needed to make this video. I guess people don't think about all of the costs that go into making a convention. Clearly, Screwattack is a Fortune 500 company whose only concern is making money.

That explains everything now. Right? I hope that no more people will question this even further. I wish i could go. The trip alone would cost me at me almost 1k

I really wish that certain events did transpire in my life during this kickstarter, if they hadn't then my donation would be a lot bigger than it is. T_T

My biggest problem with KickStarter in general is that most people doesn't have any sort of proposed plan to justify for the price. Anyone can go on KickStarter and promise rainbow and sunshine to ask for millions, but very few people list what their asking price is for.

Take Ouya for example, they ask for tons of money on the promise of lots of games that no one can confirm. It wasn't until they earned $9 million dollars some publishers are talking about porting some older games on the platform.

I actually met the guy who owned most of the arcade machines at Magfest. He's a cool guy.

Would strongly consider coming from Australia if you guys got Weird Al, lol

What i gather from this video is that it's a smal convention , where about a 1000 people can get together . I wonder if you guy's will scale up the venue if you get the impression that this time a lot more people want to come ? And did you guy's plan for this ?

what happens with the pledged money if they don't get the 100K they need for the kickstarter?
