Sailor Moon is returing to pop culture via Hulu and VIZ Media

Sailor Moon is coming back to pop culture in a number of new ways thanks to VIZ Media and Hulu. Starting this week, the original series will be airing with subtitles on the video streaming service. There are four episodes available now and you can check Hulu every Monday for new episodes. This is probably being done to revive the dormant fanbase for the reboot of the franchise coming later this year to the West as Sailor Moon Crystal.

It will be distributed by VIZ Media and will try to stick more closely to the manga than the original series did. Fun fact, Sailor Moon is the first anime I ever watched besides Speed Racer and I watched it in its entirety. Spoilers Rini is a total bitch. I don't really care if she's 8 years old, someone should slap the shit out of her. Enjoy Hulu's trailer!
