Sony builds excitement for its big announcement with a brief history of the PlayStation

It seems pretty obvious Sony’s upcoming announcement will be the reveal of its next console (prediction: it’ll be named the PlayStation 4) and if this wasn’t apparent enough, Sony has launched a new teaser for the big reveal, which outlines the history of the PS1.
In this brief two-and-a-half minute video, Sony fans are given a fairly comprehensive time-line between the console’s reveal, its marketing campaign, its highly successful international launch, and the debut of some of the PS1’s most noteworthy exclusives. I gotta admit, it was to see Crash Bandicoot get the recognition he deserves.
“Hey plumber boy, mustache man. Your worst nightmare has arrived!”
Don’t be surprised if we see similar retrospectives for the PS2 and PS3 pop up before Wednesday night.

I think that they will be talking about a console a day leading up to the launch 15th- PS1 16th-PS2 17th-PSP 18th-PS3 19th-PS Vita 20th- PS4?
