Spy Hunter is back and it's going portable!
WB Interactive has reached down into its goodie bag filled with old IPs and pulled out Spy Hunter! The 1983 arcade classic (going on its third reboot) has you assuming the role of an "Agent", responsible for taking down global terrorism. It will be available on PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS from TT Fusion at the remarkable price of $40. Surely they will justify that price point right? RIGHT?!
Never was a real fan of the original, but this looks to be a massive improvement. It's also rather surprising that such an obscure NES game got the reboot treatment.
looks great, I'll probably let my 3DS in on the action.
the new one does... as do the recent ones.
new one or old one?
you DO realize that this has an ending.
no thanks, it was fun back in the day for about 15 minutes but i'm a little bit partial to games that actually have an END
New, boxed/physical released, Spy Hunter?! Oh HELL YES! Even if it doesn't have an unlockable NES version of the game I think I'll still pick this one up.
Complete with the Peter Gunn theme! Consider me interested!
What doess F-Zero have to do with SpyHunter which is multiplatform & isn't made by Nintendo? Its on both the Vita & the 3DS. Besides I have it from a Nintendo rep that they are in fact working on an F-Zero for the 3DS :)
I Will Be :)
Game looks Awesome. It'll be ESP awesome in 3D.
No thanks. Give me an FZero 3DS with online functionality like Mario Kart and you've got yourself a sale though.
