Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist released a new teaser trailer featuring Ken Masters on April 26.
The live action series showcases the background story of Ken Masters and Ryu and their training in the art of ansatsuken.
The series is directed by Joey Ansah, who also plays Akuma and played an agent in The Born Ultimatum, and distributed through Machinima.
The project, fully approved by Capcom, will be distributed first by Machinima in May. It will later be distributed by Content Media for TV, on demand and DVD/Blu-ray media.
Machinima is also associated with the highly successful Mortal Kombat: Legacy series. Legacy began as the short film Mortal Kombat: Rebirth starring Michael Jai White and featuring a heavily altered world for Mortal Kombat. The project was picked up by Warner Bros., but many of the significant character alterations were eliminated. Legacy has since released two seasons of online content.
