Street Fighter X Mega Man: How it happened

Last weekend, the folks at Capcom revealed quite an unexpected surprise in the form of Street Fighter X Mega Man, a fan-made and Capcom backed crossover that will be free to download on the Blue Bomber's 25th Anniversary (which is Monday!).
For those who want to learn more about how this humble project became a major release, Capcom Unity has posted this video to its Youtube page, which features an interview with Seow Zong Hui (the game’s developer) and some new boss footage.

I've lost interest in capcom I don't care its free either I'm done with capcom.

Considering what's been going on with them in recent years, I've lost a lot of interest in Capcom as well, but considering that this is a fan made project that's being distributed for free by Capcom, I will check this out to show the developer appreciation of the dedication he put into this crossover. No matter what you think of the company, no one can deny that a fan doing this much for two franchises he loves is always a great thing.

From the little bits of gameplay I saw here, I say the developer got really, really creative with his level and boss designs. Is it really going to be here on December 17th? I seriously can't wait for this game.
